  1. Probably for the best since there doesn’t appear to have been any actual development happening.

  2. Good. Not a single prospect looked like it benefited them. Almost exclusively every single lottery prospect looked like they had to completely relearn their own game coming into the NBA.

  3. I think it’s for the best. Not just Scoot, but every prospect who comes out of there seems to struggle early on, especially when it comes to skills like basketball IQ, shot selection, off ball defence, basically what the pundits like to call “the little things”. And it turns out that the benefit from playing against grown men doesn’t outweigh the negative effects of the lack of structure and overall AAU-style ball that was prevalent from what I’ve seen of Ignite.

  4. players who chase the money right away instead of trying to develop their game more have all been disappointing in the nba.

  5. Only way the G league will succeed as a whole is if the NBA truly makes it a developmental league where the NBA Organization has direct oversight over their G league affiliate.

    Or

The G league becomes a true minor league that is not focused on player development but focused on giving guys a way to play professional basketball for a living, but not make the millions upon millions the nba does. Basically compete with Europe/NBL/etc
