  1. We’re currently sitting at 16th in both offensive and defensive efficiency, but it feels like it’s been a tale of two seasons. Our shooting got a lot better but the defense keeps getting worse.

  2. It can be explained pretty simply imo we have lots of one-way players. We played defensive lineups to start the year and our defense was great, but our offense struggled. All our defenders are hurt now, so we play our offensive players. Now our offense is great, but our defense sucks.Β

  3. Went from playing Reddish (and when he came back Vando) a lot to suddenly (but correctly) playing D’lo, Reaves and Rui together. In other words 3 complete sieves on defense who can’t rebound to save their lives plus a coasting LeBron James.

Talented team but not one where the whole is greater than the sum of its parts, in fact it’s probably quite to opposite.

  4. One dimensional players. You put Dlo, Reaves and Rui on the floor you have offense, but can’t stop anyone.

You put Prince and Reddish on the floor and sometimes you can get a stop here and there, but the offense will suffer because Prince offense is ok for a backup, but not for a starter and Reddish offense is like Dlo’s defense.

  5. You don’t win the season games on defense. No stars wants to play defense to avoid injury and lean on their offense to win games.
