I didn’t watch this game so I comment on it but looking at the box score supports what I’ve been thinking. Jimmy either needs to step it up or jaquez herro and jovic have to be traded for someone who CAN be the second option (and not go down constantly)

jovic 4th highest scorer doesn’t touch the floor after playing 4 mins of the 3rd. mills started again and gave nothing. martin shouldn’t have played if he was injured. bam as well. valanciunas checks in we go small for no reason. wright,martin,jaquez,highsmith, bryant were all on the floor together.
i get spo likes to tinker with shit but i just can’t understand what dude was thinking tonight. i also get that we’re injured but i just don’t see our offense ever getting to where it needs to be even if we get duncan,herro and love back.

I know we are down our good shooters, tyler, love and dunc, but todays coaching was fucking atrocious.
its simple heat is not a good basketball team. there are playin bound and if they advance will be out in the 1st rd by either boston or milwaukee. there is no vincent and strus to save them this yr

This perfectly describes this team – except, calling them insane might be an understatement. They are flat out brain dead. It was another game where the Heat decided to settle for 3s all night and throw another game away in that fashion. People can keep saying “the defense is packing the paint”. That’s always the same BS excuse. Fact is, as I’ve said many times before – the Heat make absolutely NO effort to get inside. And then they want to use the sorry excuse above. All this team does is look for the 3pt shot. – and when they aren’t forcing one up, if the 3 is not there – the offense just folds.
They make themselves one dimensional. The opposing defense doesn’t have to make much of an effort to beat the Heat. They beat themselves. Every game.
