2024 is not 2023.
I’d be shocked if he lead the Mets in those categories. Front offices pay for future performance, not past performance.
Which is also probably why he received a one year deal at a fair AAV. Because even the Mets know that they’re hoping that he becomes Tommy Pham incarnate.
We got ourselves a good one boys
Hopefully with him joining the team, Chavez returning as hitting coach, the lineup as a whole will perform a lot better.
