Thoughts on being the 4th most disappointing team in the league?

Hawks, Lakers, Warriors, Bucks, Suns

  1. I would rather disappoint in the regular season and succeed in the playoffs. Time will tell.

  2. Especially given it being a late offseason deal I always expect about a season for guys to adjust to playing with each other, specifically major stars like Dame and Giannis. Think they’ll be an absolute powerhouse next year together but need time to learn how to work

  3. Plz media keep talking as much shit as you can…and make sure giannis sees all of it

  4. Two new head coaches and trying to integrate another superstar into the developing systems. I think it’s going well

  5. 5th best record in the league. All these other teams are fighting for the play in.

  6. I love how the media and reddit (including this sub) was always complaining about the lack of playoff success, and saying “What good does it do to be dominant in the regular season but lose in the playoffs?” every year except 2021. Now, we are an old veteran team with a shit ton of playoff experience, and everyone is flipping their shit because we’re not dominating the regular season. NBA fans and media are so annoying with their short term memories and their constant need to bitch about everything. We all just need to R-E-L-A-X. Nothing matters at the end of the day except the playoffs

  7. 1 thing people need to remember is this is the 1st year with this squad, can we give them this year to mesh 1st b4 we start saying their a bad team.. Plus I’d rather be bad in the regular season and turn it up during the Playoffs!

  8. Idk lol last year was pretty disappointing after dominating the regular season and then getting rocked by god mode Jimmy and his friendship squad so I won’t be disappointed until we lose before the ECF I guess and even then I’ll be happy with a good series or two. Maybe my expectations aren’t aligning with the media’s

  9. Just another person that thinks watching advanced stats is a substitute for watching the games you are paid to write about. Anyone can see how much better we’ve looking since the asb, despite the more difficult schedule, and mostly without khris.

I don’t think we’re the favorites to win the LOB as it stands, but it is tiring that we can’t get national media to pay attention enough to give an informed opinion even though the best player in the league is on the team.

  10. The article points to Rivers’ 13-12 record as Head Coach, but in how many of those 12 losses have Giannis, Dame, Khris, and Brook been on the court together?

  11. I think if Boston wasn’t so good the collective thought would be different. Being 11 games out of first isn’t what the team had in mind when they put the team together, but being in 2nd wouldn’t’ve surprised anyone.

I think the AG era was a disappointment because it was clear early that it wasn’t the answer but then this team made a hard decision and fired a guy that was 30-13 because they knew it wasn’t the answer. There’s definitely some front offices that would’ve just rode it out because the record was fine. That takes guts and doesn’t disappoint.

I hope the fans aren’t disappointed in the team and I hope the team isn’t disappointed in themselves.

  12. 45-25 is disappointing?

Media isn’t about insights and analysis anymore. It’s about view volume.

Fact remains, Milwaukee is a serious contender.

That’s pretty much all you can hope for as a fan.

  13. As a woman, you learn to use being underestimated to your advantage. Seems to be the same in sports. 🤷‍♀️
