1. Too many fouls game was decided at the free throw line kinda bs.. we really cant beat this team its annoying

3. Can’t blame it all on the Jalen call, he did push and Fox just kinda played it perfectly. Those embarrassing last two possessions for the Magic should lead to a crunch-time hierarchy being developed, cuz we sorely need one.

4. No brains at the end there, by the players and the coaches.

6. 10-35(28.6%) from 3 is why we lost this game. Plain and simple. Gotta regroup and prepare for the Warriors on Wednesday.

8. Paolo, Franz and Suggs were 3-15 from three. I swear Jalen is either going 1-8 or 7-8 from three, there is no in between; and when he’s off the whole team sinks with him.

   Losing a winnable game at home is not how you gain respect, boys.

12. One thing I know for sure, is that when we need Cole to make a big shot, 3 out of 4 times it ain’t going in.

13. JI is that fucking guy. Never doubted him, and he deserves better than how this fanbase treated him while injured. I’m so happy to see him flourish.

18. This game ended in a loss because a single ref decided that it was Suggs’ fault Fox caught the ball near the half court line.

    Jalen, it’s not your fault.

20. They only called it a foul ’cause it resulted in a backcourt violation. It’s like when they make those super late calls, depending on whether the ball goes in or not. Ridiculous.

    Why did we not run out the clock for the final shot? Take that shit to the rim where we were dominating all night and at least draw a foul.

25. I have a feeling we are going to hear that franz has forced himself to play hurt or extremely fatigued. Because this shooting is horrible and it’s sinking the team badly it’s stopping his ability to score around the hoop as well because teams are backing off.

27. I don’t wanna hear anything about the Suggs call when refs refused to call any of Sabonis’ moving screens or elbows thrown at defenders. Not a single one the entire game was called and they call that on Suggs late as fuck even though Fox heel was already on the backcourt line before he started flailing around for a call.

29. Tough loss. Couple thoughts:
    – Sabonis-Murray DHOs for threes really hurt the Magic tonight
    – Credit to Fox, he was well-defended all night but hit a ton of tough shots.
    – Franz’ inconsistent season continues. The flat jumper is worrying. That late loose ball foul on Murray stopped a lot of momentum.
    – Ball was popping when Markelle was on the court, felt like he should’ve closed the game (maybe instead of Franz.)
    – JI was incredible. Before the block on Sabonis, he hedged hard on the PNR, contested a pass, recovered back in time for the block. Insane.
    – Felt like the Magic didn’t post Paolo enough tonight.
    – Wendell stock continues to drop. He’s solid. Very good sometimes. But this team is growing faster than he has. Sooner or later, the discourse around the Magic will move from “upgrading the guard spot” to “upgrading the 5 spot”. If JI can stay relatively healthy, the answer may already be here.

30. My biggest beef with Mosley is that he’s sometimes TOO hype on the idea of sharing and passing. He preaches, and therefore the guys always say in their interviews that you always look for your open man, but sometimes you don’t look for the open man, you take the game into your own hands and make it fucking happen.

    There are players on this team that have that ability – Franz is actually one of them if you watched FIBA. Paolo is too. They aren’t gonna take the next step until they realize that yes, teams win and lose together – but sometimes the reason you win is because the all star dragged your ass there.

31. My only problem is questionable shit by the refs at the end. Like that “push” by Jalen. I don’t know the rule, so maybe the ref had to call that no matter what, but I don’t think Jalen put enough force on the Kings player (Fox?) to cause him to lose his balance and stumble into the backcourt. It wasn’t a push. You could see Mosley was pissed about it and actually wanted to challenge it but decided too late and couldn’t get the refs’ attention before the first free throw.

    And the call was late, which makes it even more questionable. Yes, it was a good game by two good teams, and yes, the Magic had several opportunities to still win it at the end. But because the Kings won by one possession, there will always be that question about this game of whether the refs fucked up and gave the game to the Kings. I’m not one to make excuses for my team and blame the refs for every loss, but come the fuck on. This one was kinda bullshit.

32. Still 2 games ahead of Indy for 6th and 3.5 ahead of the play-in. Just make the playoffs.

34. JI should’ve gone up for the layup instead of the kick out to franz. Mose late on the challenge at the end to ice fox at the line. Gg, kings are a good team. We gotta get them next time

35. this loss is on suggs.. made a stupid cruical foul at the end missed 2 free throws and scored 9 pts which is pathetic and ruined issac big game

36. Mose said the last play was supposed to be a curl to the basket for Paolo.

    Suggs slipped on the floor and it allowed Keon to double Paolo very high, and Isaac had to adlib the play and was late screening Fox, so they both were able to just jump Paolo at the three point line.

    Unfortunate but obviously wasn’t the “designed play”.

37. Death, taxes and the Magic-Kings game being within 5 points nearly the entire way.

    Bad shooting games happen, especially with a team like ours, only really regret that we wasted a really good Isaac game like this. Basically almost every single player was off tonight except JI, this won’t happen again this season I reckon.

    But MAN imagine if JI could fucking withstand 30+mpg on the regular.

38. Damn JI was beasting tonight, sucks it was for a loss
