I was thinking that the Packers are gonna nail this draft like the current analysis of last years draft. But after the hopium wore off and I started to think about my failed Packer dreams, I thought of my draft hopes that were smashed like the following CB room on Quinten Rollens from Miami of Ohio and Josh Jackson from Iowa and I was wondering if you guys are scared of this possible reality and who were your draft hope smashes like mine?

I still have my Rollins jersey that I bought when he was a rookie…
Based on the way he played at Ohio State, I thought for sure AJ Hawk was going to end up a first ballot hall-of-famer LB. Now don’t get me wrong, he had a very “solid” career, and he probably got screwed a little bit with the switch to 3-4 when Capers came in, etc. but I was always just a little surprised that he didn’t dominate. (I think I like him more now ever since I started listening to his podcast and then his appearances on McAfee).
I expect a few duds every year so I never get too excited for the draft. I only get excited when we get someone from my alma mater.
Speaking of which.. now that my Jones jersey is obsolete I’ll need a Musgrave jersey. #gobeavs
Damn, I forgot how much hype was around Josh Jackson back in that draft. Seemed like he would be an elite player and certainly a first rounder, but I guess neither of those things happened. I was so hyped when we got him and Jaire but I guess at least one of the two worked out well.
Iowa! Get some!
They have a better gauge now at the quality of the corner position, because of Jaire I would think 🤷🏻♂️
Man, here I was thinking Sam Shields and Jarrett Bush.
The number 24 is cursed. The Jarrett Bush Curse.
