[Goodman] Ben Rortvedt is well aware of what’s coming. The #Yankees have a surplus of catchers and Rortvedt doesn’t have any minor-league options. “It’s something that’s setting in because how can’t you think towards something that’s creeping up on you like that.”

  1. Just an awful trade altogether. Really don’t know what they were thinking on that one

  2. Bad spot for the Yankees because Rortvedt doesn’t have any trade value but will probably get claimed by a desperate team when he’s placed on waivers. *Maybe* we sneak him through like we did last year with Florial. But there are just so many teams with horrible catching tandems lined up. The Rockies, White Sox, Nats, Rays, Red Sox, etc.

  3. Should have nontendered Sanchez and kept urshela. Would have saved $50 mil without Donaldson and could have signed Correa or Seager or whoever without IKF. Easily one of the worst trades of the cashman era.
