[Rutter] Mike Tomlin isn’t ready to commit to Broderick Jones opening the season at left tackle. “So much is ahead of us in terms of player acquisition. Where any specific player ends up is subject to who else is on our roster.”

  1. In other words it depends on who we draft next month. If we draft a quality RT, Broderick goes to LT. if not we’ll stick with Broddy at right and Moore at Left

  2. So much is ahead of us in terms of player acquisition?

It’s basically just the draft at this point.

  3. Broderick was such a solid draft pick! Getting both him and JPJ last year was awesome.

  4. Why would you put a 1st-rd LT at LT in his second season?

    What a stupid thought process.

  5. I mean this should surprise no one given that there isn’t a proven starting tackle on the team that can play right besides Broderick. As much as we all want him to move to the left at the end of the day you need to put your best 5 out there at whatever spot gives you the best overall line. Moore and jones is at this moment better than jones and cook or jones and Anderson

  6. draft a C and RT in the first 3 rounds, then we have a line that can grow together for at least 3 years for pennies
