I get that we have like 9 defensemen and it’s probably good to cycle in/out guys and allocate rest but like…. why Brodie?
Let me guess, Benoit scratched? Thanks Keefer :/
I’d guess Lyubushkin in for Timmins and Brodie in for Benoit? Unless someone’s banged up, you can keep the Edmundson – Liljegren pair together and then either keep Rielly – McCabe together or reunite Rielly – Lyubushkin.
I don’t mind this, keeps everyone at least somewhat fresh and it’s hard to picture a post-season roster that doesn’t include Brodie. He’s miscast as a top pair safety blanket, but he can still be useful in the right role. I also love what Benoit brings to the team, he’s been a great story as a league min guy who has battled all year, but his game also has not been amazing lately.
Can’t wait for this fanbase to have an absolute normal one on here and elsewhere as if Brodie was going to sit for the rest of the year lol.
Keefe’s never going to make a lineup that appeases to anybody and nothing really matters until the playoffs at this point anyways so who cares?
Brodie’s been playing so well in his role the last 2 games though.
I mean Brodie was never going to sit the rest of the year
I know some people will hate this, but I think it makes sense to shuffle the D up in terms of easing workload, injury prevention, and being sure we know who we want come playoffs. Brodie prob won’t play game 1, but might as well give some guys rest. Also who knows, this might have been TJ’s wake up call.
Wow, I had no idea the Leafs were even playing tonight, but not surprised that it’s blacked out in Nova Scotia.
Rielly Brodie come on down. If that’s the pair you fire Keefe on the spot
they’ve had some days off and it’s the 2nd half of a back to back.
Even if I think Boosh should take more time off, if the medical staff has cleared him and he wants to play, then might as well give some other guys a night off
Well, at least Brodie is going to be on the left.
The team is going to be way better if Brodie can return to form for the playoffs – hope the reset helped.
Bro what is wrong with this guy? I think he wants to get canned
I think it makes lots of sense to give these guys rotating games off, especially more than one game on a row.
We have, what, 8 serviceable NHL Dmen. Let’s give them some days off here
We’ll need them all if we go all the way. Question to be answered is who’s healthy and is in the lineup .game 1 of the playoffs.
Brodie and liligren playing ahead of Benoit will be the mail in the coffin for Keefe .
Brodie’s first shift back annnnnd they score. Seriously he’s been given enough chances and at this point it’s just straight up disrespectful to the Milkman.
