Honestly, I can’t blame him. Look at the way Mason was treated. Told it was a competition and that really didn’t seem to be the case. That’s why he probably left. I certainly don’t know, but that is what it looks like to me. And no, I don’t think Kenny would have beat out Rudolph, Wilson, or Fields. Just a thought.

I can’t believe I ever thought this dude was mentally tough and had what it takes to be a franchise QB. Had me thinking bringing in Russ would light a fire under his ass and bring out the best in him. Couldn’t have been more wrong. Dude’s softer than Charmin. Enjoy being a backup for the rest of your career I guess.

The funny thing is, going into his draft year the narrative was “Who better than the Steelers to know who this guy truly is? He’s been in the building while at Pitt, they know what kind of person he is, how he handles adversity, etc.” Either he changed, or they didn’t really know him.
Comes to a team with a horrible o-line… Gets tossed in 1st season without a real training camp.. year 2 starts out with a somehow worse o-line… no run game…Offensive coordinator is trash and probably only got job because he gave head coaches son a college scholarship… Gets hurt and new coaches somehow get the offense moving… 200 yards a game running at the end of the year… never gets a chance with new offense…Mark Madden, known Steeler hater, makes up false story about him refusing to dress, later debunked by DK on sports… off-season Told by head coach he has all the confidence in the world in him… Team picks up old Instagram model/QB and tells him he’s number 2… Tomlin couldn’t have screwed this up worse if was Ron Hextall…

Word on the street is, when Tomlin let him know about the Wilson deal Kenny sent a text that said trade me or I’ll fake a hamstring all season.
There’s a part of me that understands where Pickett is coming from (kind of), but all the news coming out about the situation makes him sound kind of like a candy ass.
