Sean Marks needs to go. One of the worst GMs when it comes to asset management
Probably one of the biggest Marks defenders left, but the only way this makes any sense is if we somehow trade for Mitchell PLUS another legit piece this offseason (maybe Towns?), which I’m not holding my breath for. Other than that transpiring, this is malpractice.
Tsai has to be telling Marks he has a mandate to try and “re-tool” instead of the intelligent thing and actually rebuild correctly. That or Marks has an undiagnosed head injury…both are possible

You just got to, you need to let Sean Marks go next month. He has done too much damage. It can’t continue any longer. The man has to go.
I’ve been defending Marks at every turn. I still think he’s a smart GM who’s made mistakes, but every GM does. However, if this is true, then this is bad. Getting those picks back and Jalen Green would’ve been something. The only thing I have trouble with this scenario is believing it was that simple. We don’t know if those picks had protections on them and (at the time) Jalen wasn’t producing like he is now. Not to mention, it would’ve created a logjam with Cam T. But yeah, if an offer was on the table for those picks without protections I can’t say this looks very good.
