By young QB he CLEARLY means QB1 Tyson Bagent 😤
He’s not wrong – Keenan is a master at finding soft spots in the zone. That should help Caleb learn to read zone defenses.
I figured other veteran slot guys like Renfrow or Tyler Boyd were in consideration, but Keenan Allen even at 32 is a much better option than those two. I guess I didnt follow the Chargers cap issues enough to think he was a real option though.

Keenan Allen is the sort of move that I feel we’re usually looking in on from the outside and thinking “why can’t we make moves like that?”
It certainly helped Justin Herbert
Smart thinking. Keenan Allen just gets open.
Agent Bagent man
So I just wanna get a gauge of what people expect from Keenan Allen in terms of his future and production with the bears.
Let me first explain that I fully think it’s a good move for what the bears gave up. A fourth rounder.. and I say that just because it will give Caleb Williams a reliable target and help him grow
But Are you expecting more than one good year out of him? He’s 32 and let’s face it he’s getting too old to produce at the high level for much longer. It’s just facts.. He’s already had some injury problems last year.. I don’t expect more than just this year from him. I do not feel he will be part of the future when the bears are actually contending for a Super Bowl and personally that’s why I’m not overly excited about the move. And I still believe they need to draft a receiver, but maybe not at 9 because there are other holes like edge rusher and o-live that still need help
And has been friends with said young QB for a year
So many weapons on offense now. Kmet, Moore, Allen, Swift and Caleb’s own legs. I would actually take Joe Alt a 1.09 if still available so he has time to throw to them
I mean, yeah I’ll take Allen over Ridley & Hollywood Brown every day of the week

Damn, It cut off the end of the tweet:
