Figured we'd post a megathread to try and consolidate any information regarding Opening Week and Opening Day.

Questions about getting to/from the park, tickets, tailgating, event times, etc.

Parking

Globe Life Field parking lots will open at 2:00 PM

Ballpark gates will open at 3:30 PM

Batting practice: Rangers – 3:30 PM, Cubs: 4:30 PM

Pregame Ceremonies

Ceremonies are scheduled to start at 6:00 PM

World Series banner

Reveal is set for 20-30 minutes before first pitch. It measures 20'x30' and will be located adjacent to the Globe Life Field right field video board.

National Anthem

Waco native Wade Bowen, whose newest album Flyin’ will be released on May 10, will perform the anthem.

Moment of Silence

A moment of silence will be observed in memory of coach Hector Ortiz, who passed away after a battle with cancer on February 28, 2024.

First Pitch

First pitch is scheduled for 6:35 PM
