[Al Galdi] Seconds apart in the same segment on The Insiders, Mike Garafolo said teams think that “Washington is locking in on Jayden Daniels” while Tom Pelissero said “the most popular answer for what [the #Commanders] do at No. 2 is J.J. McCarthy.” Adam Peters is playing this perfectly.

  1. Is the assumption that Peters is intentionally muddying the waters for some reason? Or that they just don’t leak anymore so everyone else is having to wildly speculate?

  2. There is always smokescreen even when we had Rivera or whatever I’m not gonna act like Adam Peters is playing this like some mastermind

  3. How is this playing this perfectly? If the plan is to stay and take a QB at 2, how does who other teams think we’re taking at 2 have any effect on who we take at 2? The only team that matters to us are the Bears and they seem pretty set on taking Williams.

  4. Everyone, **especially this sub**, needs to realize that not a peep of *legitimate* evidence is coming out until Goodell goes to the podium in one month from now.

This is peak smokescreen season. Don’t take every rumor as fact. Or really, ANY rumor.

  5. I think the media just pray for a draft day shocker to have something to talk about. Going chalk is boring to them. They’ve been talking about it for months.
