  1. Man I’d love to trade down or draft WR at 9 but the thought of having Alt and Wright at tackle for 10 years is very intriguing. I’m pretty certain Alt will be gone by 9 but interesting to see what would happen if he’s available at the Bears pick.

  2. I think he had penalty issues though right? I feel like there were a few games where it was just penalty after penalty on him. Other than that he was super solid

  3. This is why I’m a big “trust the process” guy.

With that ninth pick, there are countless possibilities, but the hidden variable is our team’s evaluation of the talent that may be available with that pick. Last year, we were willing to reach a little for a player we believed in. This year, it shouldn’t be a shock if we do similar. And if we don’t reach, it will be because a player we like a whole lot was right there for the taking.

And in the meantime, it matters a great deal which prospects are involved in top 30 visits.

  4. Jalen Carter was just too much for a team in our situation to handle. Off field stuff, laziness down the stretch of the season, etc. We didn’t have a locker room that could sustain that

  5. That took some heat for taking him. I think we can trust Ryan Poles and Co to draft lineman.

  6. I really hope we go OL again at 9. WR is great…. but being protected in the pocket is way more important for a young qb than a flashy WR would be especially since we might have one of the best 1 2 punch in the league with wr if they stay healthy
