Interested in a QB with a second-round pick??

I'm skeptical any of the top 6 QBs will make it that far.

  1. Maybe? It’s not currently a pressing need with Jimmy as our backup, but if there’s a guy that needs to sit for a year or two then that could work. Before JJ McCarthy rose up the boards there was some talk about us potentially taking him

  2. If Stetson is back for good, don’t really want to see them draft a QB this year.

  3. I doubt it. We signed Jimmy to a 5 mil deal. Getting a rookie means we put him on the practice squad basically.

I don’t think we would draft a QB with a premium pick and not even let him get second team reps

  4. Not after the rams have 3 potential qbs on the roster. Much rather they trade up in the first even if they lose that 2nd

  5. A lot of mock drafts have us taking Hartman for some reason. Not a big fan however…hear me out… most handsome QB room of all time.

I want defenses lost in the sauce staring into our qb’s dreamy eyes and their long flowy hair. Now that’s a Sean McVay strategy.

  6. Nope, can’t afford that luxury this year. We plugged a couple of holes in our secondary this year so I don’t expect us to invest in that area with any of our day 1 and 2 picks. Aaron’s retirement left a lot of question marks on our DL. I’m expecting our first two picks to be a DT and an Edge (not necessarily in that order), there’s good ones to be had in both round 1 and round 2. In the third round I think we’ll pick a LB follow by a RB.

  7. I like Spencer Rattler as somebody to replace Stafford in a few years but with Jimmy G being the current back up I say it’s best to pass and address one of the many needs. I certainly don’t trust in Stetson to ever take over the starting role and consider that a wasted pick a far so a future starter needs to be in the plans eventually.
