Dalzell: Kristaps Porzingis on his takeaway from this loss: “It’s the NBA, these kinds of things happen, of course. We just don’t want to make this a habit, and it hasn't been a habit for us. We slipped one game, and we did relax a little bit, and we paid the price.”

We played okay for three quarters at least lol
The tank continues and Brooklyn won, best case scenario
Pretty happy with that game. Only wish Keyonte was shooting at a higher percentage but I like the competitive tank games
I hope Lauri figures out how to drive and use that big frame to get fouls. Dude’s like 90% from the free throw line, and he could use that to diversify his game.
First game in a while the Jazz didn’t look like the worst team in the league. But still, better team won.
Jazz came out cooking. Pressure was applied. Jazz got tired and started missing shots. That’s how physical games go. The Jazz scored fewer points 2nd half than the 1st quarter.
The Jazz need some other reliable scorers besides Markkanen and Sexton. John Collins’s abysmal center defense is also a big hole that I think will never be fixed.
I have a feeling next year will have some surprise wins again. The team plays really well even in these games but obviously sells late.
I’m rooting for the Nets hard every game
I know it’s still early to talk about, but I’m really curious who Ainge likes in this draft. With all the talk about it being a mediocre class, you’d think he wouldn’t pull the plug at the trade deadline unless he feels there’s some talent that’s getting overlooked right?
Main takeaway of the game for me was Taylor’s defense on Luka. He locked him up for most of the game. The 4th quarter would probably have been closer than it was if Taylor had closed over JC (maybe that was a soft tanking move by Will?). He’s going to be a very special defender.
Free Collin sexton.
