I don’t even know how I would feel about this. All sorts of excited… but would Joe Alt be the better long term pick? Are we really going to be airing it out sufficiently to feed garret, MHJ, and mike williams?
MHJ is the one player that would not split the fan base on draft night.
Important to note that this was after Tyron Smith and before Mike Williams (where a WR2 need was more apparent). I don’t think we would be so aggressive, but who knows. Also Important to know that Daniel Jeremiah is well tuned in with Joe Douglas

-Ricky Pearsall
Idk how the Jets would have the draft capital to trade up to #5 when Jets don’t have their second round pick this year. That being said, Harrison Jr. looks like he will be a huge star, maybe even as good as his father was, so if getting him was possible I would definitely go for it.
I just can’t see this for a few reasons:
1. The team that just lost BOTH of their top WR’s is going to pass on the most Pro ready receiver in the draft?
2. We don’t have a Round 2 pick, so giving up assets when we don’t have a full clip already seems a little like mismanagement to me. (I’m in the camp of trade back for picks personally).
3. Talks of Neighbors being graded as high (give or take on analyst) I think devalues this pick. Alternatively, this class is consistently considered ‘loaded’ with talent which I would then feel better about a later round shot becoming someone (maybe not a superstar but starting caliber worthy).
Just my thoughts on the matter, don’t kill me.

Not sure the chargers would do this after losing Keenan Allen and Mike Williams. Knowing they have a good shot at MHJ is probably part of the reason the gave up both.
