Working with cooper could actually help him a lot cause didn’t he also have problems with the drops in Dallas?
Do you guys think Jerry Jeudy’s drops are going to be a problem?

Nah, our starter threw 2tds to wide receivers in 6 games. Jeudy definitely gonna light it up. Watson has always been on target . I mean he’s a top 25 QB 😂
Not saying it is completely this but drops can be caused by the quarterback too. Poor ball placement, the way the quarterback throws the ball, setting up the receiver to get destroyed by a defender. I have faith that Berry and Co have done their homework with Jeudy and believe drops can and will be decreased with him for a number of reasons.

PFR has him at 2 last season?
Amari Cooper had 7. 12 the year before.
Am i missing something?
I don’t know. Depends who is throwing the ball.
He’s had 7 recorded drops in the last 2 years while also leading the Broncos in receiving yards during that time. It’s like thinking Njoku will be a liability for his early career drops.
I don’t care about the drops tbh. TO dropped a decent amount of passes. Made a shit ton of big plays too. If dude is making plays the drops are irrelevant. If he’s not making plays the drops are also irrelevant lol.
Last season he had a 2% drop percentage.
For comparison:
9% – Tee Higgins
6% – Tyreek Hill
5% – Tyler Boyd, Mike Evans, Stefon Diggs, Amari Cooper
4% – Cooper Kupp, Terry McLaurin
3% – Garrett Wilson
Anyone who says drops are a problem are probably just ignoring the fact that Denver had shit QBs.
He had 8 drops in 3 years.
Nope he will magically be better, healthier and all that when he gets to Cleveland
Where tf did this narrative come from that he has an issue with drops?!
Chief’s gunna put him on the jugs.
Probably but even Jarvis and Odell had drops
Hi, Broncos fan here. He had issues with drops his rookie year and it has never been a problem since. I have no idea why so much is being made out of his drops from a transition season to the NFL 4 years ago.
Carry on.
I think him being a jag will be a problem
I doubt anyone is going to have a problem with drops now that they can’t be tackled legally.
Reminds me of Greg Littlehands
RemindMe! 9 months
Not a problem because Watson won’t target him since both will probably be on IR most of the season.
Jerry Jeudy drop rate by season:
2020: 18.8%, 12 drops on 110 targets
2021: 5%, 2 drops on 54 targets
2022: 8.1%, 6 drops on 100 targets
2023: 6.9%, 4 drops on 84 targets
Lots of WRs come into the league and struggle with their hands and then improve over time. Think its pretty clear Jeudy is one of those guys. Granted, he’s only middling now, but not the rookie year dropaholic anymore (as people think).
The only problem will be his attitude.

I feel like we are usually league leaders in drops regardless of the QB receiver combinations we have out there so…. No this is going to be different
Yes. He doesn’t seem like the most focused, mature individual. I think we’re going to get similar production as Denver. 600-900 yds and 2-4 Td’s
I’m more concerned with the 11 touchdowns in 4 years than I am his drops
Washington fan coming in peace. I’d believe in the coaching staff in Cleveland to get the best out of him, and i think coop being an undisputed 1 will take some pressure off the kid
I’m sure he will have most of his career now that he is a Brown.
Rookie year Jerry Jeudy sucked at catching:
– 2020 = 46% catch percentage.
Since then he’s been good:
– 2021 = 67.9%
– 2022 = 67.0%
– 2023 = 62.1%
Rookie year Jerry Jeudy had issues, but was still catching the deep ball, with 16.5 Yards Per Reception. Since then he’s put up solid #2 WR numbers.
Jarvis Landry, with us, for reference:
– 18′ = 54.4%
– 19′ = 60.1%
– 20′ = 71.3%
– 21′ = 59.8%
I anticipate Jerry Jeudy to be a mensch and put up, (2024 Projected *Realistic* ~~Optimistic~~ Stats):
– 1,111 Yards on/ 73 Catches for a/ 15.2 Yard Per Catch
– 65% Catch Percentage
– 7 TD’s/ 45 First Downs
^(…assuming he plays all 17 games healthy…)
Drops are a non-issue. I’m more worried about his effort and running the right routes. He’s one of those guys that has talent but can’t put it all together.
Dafuck? Dude doesn’t drop passes. He takes plays off, takes entire games off, quits on routes, and is basically a WR3 talent. Browns gave him WR2 money. It’s what they do. He’ll be mid as fuck, and people will complain that he’s not lighting it up. Because he’s mid, and always will be.
All I care about is can he get a 1,000 yards with Cooper , and Njoku. And keep them drops low. And help us win. And Cleveland will love the dude.

I’ll gladly eat crow if it comes to it, but I think this is a miss for Berry and Co.
If we had a problem with dropped passes then we wouldn’t be Browns fans
