Also, from another article, The Athletic has our historical analogue as the 2014 Royals that finished above projection and took the AL pennant. They say we may be a year away from a deep October run.

That doesn’t surprise me. I think we’ll be a playoff team but it wouldn’t surprise me if we have a couple second year let downs either. I would just like to see a fast start for once. Seems like it’s been forever since the reds had a decent start to the year.
