Great piece by Susan Slusser on JHL.

  1. He’s had an awesome Spring. Giants haven’t had a true contact hitter batting leadoff like this since Brett Butler and maybe a few others. Lookin’ forward to seeing him play well in the regular season!

  2. I knew his stats this spring were pretty good but ya never really know what to make of spring training stats, good or bad. But the comments from players and coaches in this article definitely give me high hopes for Lee to do well this season.

  3. Looking forward to seeing him play this season. Also hope Fanatics releases his jersey in hangul.

  4. I watched so many damn videos about Lee and how he’s going to translate to the MLB, and the thing that always gave me the most faith is that what made him special in Korea is very repeatable in MLB.

The most impressive thing about Lee has always been his approach at the plate and his Bat to ball skills, and so far it’s translated really well, and I think Lee will transition really well into the regular season.

I was really hoping to see him against Mason Miller though, I’m curious how he’ll do against that absolute filth that someone like Miller has. Seeing Miller mow down our back end line up was really nasty and I really wanted to see how Lee would approach it.
