  1. Rams no call hurt me a lot more than this did. We had been losing that entire game against the Vikings, so I only had hope at the very end of the game. The Rams game we were winning, about to score, and it was the conference championship.

  2. No call was much worse.

This was our player making a bonehead play.

The no-call was us getting cheated out of a superbowl by the refs.

  3. The Rams no call hurt more because no one will ever convince me that we wouldnt have beaten Brady and the Oats in the SB.

This one enraged me because all Williams had to do was tackle Diggs inbounds. Let him catch it, then take him down. The no look whiff tackle was the one thing he couldn’t do and he did it.

  4. Rams no call hurt much more. We weren’t guaranteed to beat Philly the next week at all. I’d even say blowing the Niners game to Alex Smith was worse too cuz we would have been hosting the Giants in the NFC Championship game that next week and had already beat em that season

  5. Nola no call runs laps around this. We should have beat the Vikings here, but no guarantee at all that we beat either Philly or New England.

Even the Alex Smith/Vernon Davis sequence against the 49ers in 2011 is worse than this, bc I feel confident we beat NYG and NE that season.

Similarly, it seemed all year in 2018 that we were the best. If we don’t get screwed, we reach the Super Bowl. We have no other single play we can claim that for. I believe we do beat NE that season, so this will always be #1 most painful in its infamy.

  6. The no call in the NFCCG hurt way more. It sucks to get beat on a play but it’s fair and I can handle that. Getting robbed is something completely different.

  7. No Call was worse. At least this was part of the game. Also we could have had a Brady/Belichick VS Brees/Payton Superbowl.

  8. The rams no call hurt worse because it wasn’t just a mistake we made on the field. It was a conscious decision from the NFL, and took that game out of our hands.

  9. There’s only one. And it’s so painfully obvious that I don’t even have to say what it is for everyone who’s reading this comment to get it.

  10. The pierre Thomas concussion fumble at the goal line returned by Witten for a touchdown was specifically painful.

The no-call hurt pretty damn badly too

  11. mckyer INT lateral to deion lateral to fishback.  the last lateral to touchdown didnt count but it still stings 30 years later

  12. What are you waiting for? The only answer is the no call and it’s not even close.

  13. Are you serious? The no-call in the NFCCG against the Rams, without question.

The Minneapolis ending sucked, but we blew it with shitty defensive play. They won fair and square.

The NFCCG was over if the refs don’t fuck up with the biggest blown call in NFL history. And I think we would have had a solid chance against the Pats in the Super Bowl. We’d have at least put up more of a fight than the Rams did.

  14. drew’s last interception, divisional round 2021

game was pretty much over, but the goat getting picked off to seal the deal hurt.

the final look back before walking into the tunnel. oof.

  15. came here to vent. was a casual fan a year before this. decided i’d start watching games since i was young and was getting into football a lot more. went to the us vs panthers game that season. watched every game, yelled at the top of my lungs while watching. got to the playoffs. started off bad but then we came back. 10 seconds left i thought “it’s impossible they literally can’t win this they’re to far away for a field goal” next thing i know a field goal didn’t matter…got clowned at school that next day. this is our 9/11

  16. I’m older than most but for me it was the 1978 season and the Falcons:

Fucking Steve Bartkowski throwing two last minute fucking Big Bens (now known as bombs) to take the 78 team from 9-7 (would have been the first winning season) to 7-9 and out of the playoffs again.

Ten year old me walked to my bedroom like a zombie and cried when it happened the second time.

  17. You’re kidding right? Did you become a fan the day after the Rams no call on January 20, 2019? I will never forget that play. That was a trip to the Super Bowl and we would have beaten that Patriots team, resolving once and for all who was the better quarterback between Brees and Brady. And we would be 2-0 in Super Bowls with the Shit Birds at 0-2 along with 28-3. So many things got fucked by that no call.

That play soured me in the NFL for a long minute.

  18. Not as bad as the No Call PI, but that missed PAT after the River City Relay…
