In a perfect world it’s always open (or we’re in the park across the street). It definitely shouldn’t be closed if it’s under 90. Also real grass.
When the roof is open it *feels* like a great ball park. I think it jumps up several rankings with the roof open even though overall I don’t rank it super high compared to other parks in the league.
