Grady on TNT again tonight – won’t be long until it’s permanent

1. Grats to Grady, well deserved. Have a feeling he won’t be with the Wolves very long.

2. Permanent = one night a week? He’d have to overtake Mike Breen and Kevin Harlan to be making full time money. Jim pete comments in that link that many bigger names also work with just one team.

   I love Grady’s game calls, so smooth. But I’m not sold he’s gone to national gigs full time very soon.

3. Grady is really really good at his job so I definitely wouldn’t be surprised to see him move on elsewhere. That said, I think he really likes covering the Wolves and enjoys Minnesota so who knows. Maybe he’ll stay here for a long time and also do national games as well

4. Grady isn’t going anywhere – it’s no coincidence the change came as soon as Lore and Rodriguez got in the mix

   They will give a bag to Grady, he certainly may move on eventually like Harlan but it won’t be anytime soon. Especially with Edwards on the trajectory he’s on, Grady likes basketball he’s not going to give up his spot to see one of the games rising stars when the money will also be there from Lore and Co

   A one off here and there sure but there won’t be a full-time national move anytime soon

5. I hope he does what Mike Breen, Ryan Ruocco, and Mark Jones do and still does local games if he goes national

6. I love whenever this comes up we have dozens of people who seem to know exactly what Grady’s decision making process will be. Truth is nobody has any clue and all we can do is enjoy the hell outta this absolute treasure while we have him 🙌🏼🐺

7. It is funny to think about broadcasting like NBA free agency 😄

   Could definitely see Grady going the Breen route where he’s the local #1 PxP guy while also doing nationally televised games. He’s still pretty young so can’t imagine the additional travel bothers him too much. I think the big thing with Harlan was he wanted to do different sports where I’m not sure that’s the case with Grady.

8. He’s been doing National TV games on Tuesday for a while now. This isn’t new.

10. It would be nice if they used Dave Benz when Grady is out.

11. Assuming whoever is responsible for Grady’s paycheck is rightfully willing to open the pocketbook, I don’t see how he would turn down the opportunity to be the voice of Anthony Edwards highlights for all of history.

17. Damn just tuned in Kings v Mavs and I knew I wasn’t tripping! Nice to see Grady getting recognition
