Weird KC bit.
I have a coworker whose sales territory is the NE, and he lives in Boston. Boston guy through and through, but he’s not a Masshole and his sports takes are reasonable and informed. We’re superb friendly. We do lots of work together. One of our biggest projects is the network of hospitals of an Ivy League you’ve definitely heard of.
Anyway, he knew I was KC just before the SB. He hit me up and asked me to get him some KC merch. I did, a pretty cool looking distressed/vintage-looking Chiefs sweater from the pro shop at Arrowhead.
This week he tells me this story about how he runs a hockey league and coaches too, and he walked in wearing my sweater. People instantly give him shit for it, among them an exec from one of Boston’s biggest investment firms. He used that in with her to get an opportunity.
Somehow the Chiefs are getting Ws off the field in enemy territory too.
