The ‘DeShon Elliot is the Derrick Henry Stopper’ is the dumbest thing ever. I’m excited we signed DeShon and think he’ll absolutely be an upgrade for us at the position, but just because of one fucking play where he had a good hit on Henry (as Henry was already in the process of falling down) doesn’t mean he’s suddenly going to be ‘the guy’ that keeps Henry in check. If you watch one play and come to that conclusion, you simply don’t know ball.
If we’re being honest, Elliot probably isn’t even a top 6 guy on our defense next year.
A team effort, but the guy can hit. Hope he stays healthy
