  3. Like I told someone before. No player is going to defer this much money unless they want to be on your team. Turned down the Giants and probably Angels too but not confirmed.

    When it comes to hitting he is extremely smart. It is not just about having a hitter friendly park (Which Citi is not). BUT It’s about where you hit your homeruns. And Citi’s dimensions actually help him. Like the article says. Last year he would have had 39 homeruns if he played everygame at Citi.

    Anywho If we get 2023 JD this will be potentially one of the greatest steals of a deal since the Frank Cashen era.

  4. This was a great read. Never saw J.D. play much aside from his handful of at-bats against the Mets, but I love the fact that he routinely goes the other way. It’s such a lost art, especially for a power hitter.
