[Acuña/@PlayersTribune] I want you to understand the full picture. I want you to know about the whole person, and what’s important to me. About the things reporters never ask me about. Not just the baseball part. This is my story.

Oh my god he’s joining the Warriors
(Actually a really good read)
Yeah this one had me choked up big time. Goddamn I love this man.
Like most Tribune articles, this was a great read! It’s nothing earth shattering but it’s a great insight into him.
hell yeah painted nails
a certain crowd is gonna get very worked up about this
Great read, nothing really revelatory but a good story about his path to the majors. Also seemed like some sublims at Freddie toward the end but I might just be reading into things to much.
I hope the Braves implemented some minor league staff to help players with English and live day to day in America, no one deserves that stress and relative food insecurity. It reminds me of stories Carlos Beltrán has told about his time in the minors in the 90s, [it does look like something might have improved in 2016](https://www.mlb.com/amp/news/carlos-beltran-gets-spanish-translator-program-c161857500.html)
Him admitting to being a pretty major introvert off the field totally tracks with stuff beat writers and former teammates have said
It’s definitely a fuck you to Freddie in those few paragraphs about veterans.
He absolutely “say that.”
Listen to my story. This may be our last chance.
great read
I fully believe this man will never put on another uniform. This piece tells us exactly why too. The Braves were the only team willing to give him the chance. Ronald Acuna Jrs #13 will one day hang on the Truist park façade right next to Chipper’s 10
God I would die for this man
Heard that Freddie? He say that!
> In my dream, from there, it is the best feeling in the entire world. Everyone celebrating that final out. Screaming and yelling and jumping. And then, next thing I know, everyone is on the field. And I mean everyone!
> All the fans stream down to the grass and it is one giant party.
Rushing the field after a World Series win would be insane. I am here for it.
I loved how vulnerable he was in the article. Can’t wait to see this man go 50/50 this year!
