[Katie Woo] “I’m not going to tell all the people doubting us to eat shit. I’d like to, but in the off chance I’m wrong, I look like an idiot. But in the chance they’re wrong and I’m right, that’d be pretty neat.” Miles Mikolas, Opening Day starter, is ready for 2024.

  1. Im not recklessly optimistic for the birdinals like I have been in the past, but it would be awesome to see them go nuts and win the Central easily. They gotta play this season with hate in their hearts though, another april like last year and we are in a tough spot

  2. Gosh. If this doesn’t instill a shit ton of confidence I don’t know what does…..fml.

  3. I think (and hope) Mikolas will be better this year with Gray to stabilize the front of the rotation, but my goodness, he has said some wild things this spring. Hope he can back it up.

  4. Well the moves the FO have made inspire no confidence whatsoever. Be it signing over the hill starting pitching and the Oli extension which I don’t think anyone outside of the FO understands. So if this is the mindset the players take then so be it, but if they can’t at least win a playoff series this season those doubters are going to get louder and louder.

  5. Dudes like 30 hours away from getting his shit rocked by the dodgers lineup. Take it easy bud

  6. I am hoping that VS can have enough Obp to have an impact on this lineup. I don’t care how he gets on base. Just get on and steal like like Vince used to.

  7. even the most optomistic projections put us at 86-87 wins. Thats not very good

  8. God damn it as long as they can keep this spirit up and a chip on their shoulder it will be a great season

  9. Very excited to be a ‘spicy quotes instead of wins’ team this year like Colorado football last season
