I was under the assumption that Cordarrelle Patterson was washed

I just checked out this hype video ( https://youtu.be/IUiThhZNvH8?si=pj6hMmW6iOULEM0R ) on the “flash” and WOW! While some of the clips are older, look at some of those plays from last season! I did not expect him to be able to move like that! He is insanely athletic still at the age of 33, I think he is going to be a pivotal role in our offense. Absolutely love this pickup after doing some more research on him. Welcome to Pittsburgh Cordarrelle!

  1. Pat P was washed.

Doesn’t mean they can’t still provide value if used correctly.

  2. My suggestion would be to proceed with caution whenever you see heavily used, baseless, sports narratives like “washed” and “trash”.

  3. He was good last year still. Being quick is obviously important but the most important thing for good kick returners is reading the field and how your blockers stack up. He’s a great pick up for the new rules.

  4. I have noticed that football fans who use terms like “washed” is a tell that they have little idea what they are talking about.

  5. I said this in the thread yesterday bro has a ton of tread left on the tires. In his career he’s had 298 receptions and 514 carries that’s it. And those carries really didn’t start consistently until the Atlanta years the last 3. Never had more than 52 catches in a year. So for a 33 year old RB that’s nothing

  6. I was just talking to a friend about that. I feel like he may be at the point of his career where staying on the field (injuries) is the concern. Dude still knows how to find the end zone when he’s out there. Aided my fantasy team quite a bit a few years back

  7. Every player is washed until we sign them in the offseason. Then, they are suddenly not washed for a few months. It’s a cool trick

  8. He’s completely washed, but he’s making $11 million less a year than Allen Robinson, so the bar is already laying on the ground.
