  1. This convo is very Luka-centric and still does not give any highlight to how our defense has improved overall.

Love that Legs has been the front national media man on hyping the Mavs since the trade deadline, but I would’ve loved to see some love to the others on this team, especially PJ and Gafford.

    Beggars can’t be choosy though…

  2. All it takes is one guy in the national media to turn the narrative and Legler has been that guy for us. Slowly you are starting to see more national guys buying into the Mavs.

  3. Legler is great because he doesn’t have agendas. He’s as neutral as one can be in the national media, and I’ll appreciate that. He wasn’t high on LuKai early in the season, calling out Luka for his defense. Gave the Mavs flowers with the trade deadline acquisitions and called them out on their bullshit defense in the 5/6 L stretch.

Bar is in the damn Mariana trenches, but it’s just refreshing to hear someone talk about what’s going on and not narratives about “X PLAYER HAS NO HELP” “Y TEAM WILL BLOW IT UP ASAP AFTER LOSING 2 CLOSE GAMES IN A ROW” or ” Z PLAYER IS THE FIRST PLAYER IN NBA HISTORY TO PUT UP A STATLINE OF 22/4/3/2/1 AFTER THEIR UNCLE’S 48TH BIRTHDAY AND AFTER THEY ATE LASAGNA PREGAME”

  4. Does Legler have an MVP vote? I’m seriously wondering how many people with an MVP vote are actually paying attention to us let alone at the scope that Legler has been since the Trade Deadline
