  1. He was asked if there had been any extension talks earlier this spring and you could tell he was pretty annoyed when saying there hadn’t been, dude left money on the table in order to be apart of something great, love you, Will.

  2. what a steal of an extension imo; finding a good catcher offensively and defensively is so hard nowadays. If teams do, you do whatever you can to lock up that guy.

  3. It’s a great deal for both parties. Could he have gotten more? Possibly. But take into consideration Joe Mauer (8/184) and Buster Posey (8/167) contract extension. More money, but they were better players. Smith got a very respectful deal for the age and player he is.

  4. This is a pretty wild signing. The dodgers are stacked at catcher, Will left money on the table to stay. Everybody played from their hearts on this one lol.

  5. People hate Dodgers not because they spend big bucks on their players, but because the players are genuinely and openly happy to be there.
