Look, we all know what we said about Jake earlier in the season. We know the slander we heaved upon him *LIKE SLAW ON A PULLED PORK SANDWICH.* But he’s good. It’s fine to be wrong. Better to be wrong about a Grizzlies player being bad than to be right about it. We should be happy to be wrong.
He’s got good handles, he goes after rebounds, he’s got a great shooting stroke, actually looks for teammates in scoring position to hit with assists, he consistently gets to the basket & draws fouls and he makes his free throws. Like… at some point you have to admit that those are all things we’d want to keep rather than trade away.
I mean, if you **just** **don’t like him** that’s fine. Personally, I don’t like Austin Reaves; hate his smug fucking face and I think he looks like Ferris Bueller’s best friend. I live in LA and he is in an ad campaign for some shitty auto accident attorneys and each time I see one of the billboards with him on it, it makes me want to go take a shit. He’s a good player, I just fucking hate him.
Maybe you don’t like Jake. But you have to admit he actually **can** play…
