I would assume it’s just because Ahmed was a minor league deal signing and probably won’t be on the team for an extended period of time (unlike all the others in the picture)
Ahmed just seems like one of those guys that’ll get DFA’d by June if not earlier
Doubt it. Ahmed is signed to a minor league deal and isn’t on the 40-man roster. All of the guys in the photo signed notable guaranteed contracts and are already on the roster.
Assuming Ahmed gets added, that roster move will happens tomorrow before game time.
He hasnt formally been added to the major league roster, once he is he might get some kind of post or somthing with the rest of the first time call ups like Erik Miller and Jefferies
