  1. Bummer wished Naoyuki Uwasawa worked out with us but wish him all the best (except when he plays us)

  2. He triggered the assignment clause that he had the option to use. Now I feel less bad and disappointed in him that he didn’t wanna trust the process. He’d probably have inevitably found a spot sooner or later if he just bided his time in AAA.

  3. He just doesn’t have big league stuff. His stuff played in Japan because they’re in a dead ball era. He’s too hitable for MLB talent plus livelier balls

  4. Mistake from Uwasawa. He said he joined the Rays because of their history of developing pitchers. Best pitching coach in the game. Took one look at his minor league assignment after ST and threw that special Kyle Snyder training all away. Good chance that Snyder would have been able to turn him into at least pretty decent pitcher had he stayed. Now wherever he goes he’ll have a worse pitching coach and lower likelihood of success. Not to mention the RSox are gonna be in the basement again lol, while we will be in a wild card spot most likely, as long as we don’t implode. Impatient decision from him. He’ll regret it imo.

  5. Bad move from him tbh. You dont just suddenly become good after training for like a month, especially when u haven’t even tried pitching in the big league before. It takes months or probably years to develop ur skills as a pitcher.
