Remember – high draft picks in the past have struggled towards the end of their rookie season and still went on to be great players

Some also have continued to be bad.
Remember , Dennis Smith Jr had better stats than Scoot at about the same age
Scoot should continue to get opportunities to show what he is capable of, but if he doesn’t show enough I’m hoping the org is willing to simply move on instead of over committing to him and being mediocre for years.
I’m sure Scoot will get better but I find him sort of boring. It’s almost as if he’s from a different era. He will be a good but not great point guard most likely.
