Right now the single most impactful thing any fan could do to keep the A’s in Oakland is to donate TODAY to Schools Over Stadiums.
All donations made today to Schools Over Stadiums will be matched by an anonymous donor up to $100,000!
Many of us will be raising money for them in the parking lot today, but it doesn’t matter where you donate from – it all gets counted for the match. Do it!

Just a heads up, that link is run through ActBlue, which keeps a portion of your donations, and in certain circumstances can use your donations for activities not related schools over stadiums.
They also provide your personal information to Schools Over Stadiums thus losing chain of custody on your data.
Maybe instead raise money for the community of Oakland
This effort is a day late and a dollar short. Do not waste your money on this.
There is zero chance of Nevada voters rejecting SB1. The Tropicana is closing and being demolished starting next week. Because those jobs are already lost, the political, labor, and business interests are solidly aligned to pushing the project forward.
For the A’s to stay in Oakland, John Fisher needs to sell the team to another billionaire who is determined to keep the team there.
Contributing here is a great way to help Reno teachers fight for better pay and working conditions for themselves. To keep the A’s in Oakland? Not so much.
Schools Over Stadiums PAC has existed since 2016. If it seems weird that a PAC to repeal a piece of legislation formed 7 years before that legislation even got written, that is because the PAC was renamed from Educators for Washoe Schools.
