  1. Didn’t we offer him the same amount?

Also, didn’t we choose him over Buckner and stuck with him with all the injuries?

Idk, that kinda sucks to hear.

  2. It’s a business in a cutthroat industry. I’m absolutely positive it wasn’t personal.

  3. I mean the 9ers have Aiyuk and Purdy contracts to worry about after paying bosa. AA was great to have but wasn’t going to be paid as a fixture player despite the solid season

  4. Every human being will always use low energy statements to satisfy their ego. This is no different. These are professional athletes with huge egos.

It’s just noise. He’s just venting to save face and create an other to help the ego feel good.

  5. He also said he has no ill will towards the 49ers long term.

Funny how they leave that out

  6. They probably gave him an incentive heavy contract with low guaranteed money that would be team friendly if he missed a lot of time.

  7. He didn’t feel extremely disrespected getting paid all that money but not being there in the playoffs. I respect armstead for what he’s done for us but he’s already gonna be 30 next year and his foot issues don’t seem to be getting better.

  8. Seems like ragebait for his podcast. “Extremely disrespected” is some strong words for someone who underperformed his last contract.

  9. Feelings are temporary, doesn’t mean he still feels that way. He also said he doesn’t have any animosity towards Lynch, Kyle or the org, who have always said they’ll do what’s best for the team.

  10. If the disrespect came in not matching what you got offered. Im cool with it.

Question has been, If Arik is healthy for the last few years
