So many people talk up how Thanasis is the #1 teammate. Like pushes for extra reps in the gym, celebrates everyone and defends everyone. I can’t ask for a better 15th man on the bench that also keeps Giannis happy.
They were raised to pull their weight and then some as young people scrapping for money. His effort is ALWAYS there when he enters in the game and he only brings positive energy. He defends Giannis now and did it when they were kids, they shared the same pair of shoes as well for practices. Looked out for all of his brothers especially in the streets of Greece where there is racism and neo nazis that were third most popular political party (Golden Dawn).
I’m going to give this a good listen on my drive home. His questions are normally very thoughtful and he brings amazing guests to his podcast.
