It shocks me that this team played without any life or passion. I didn’t expect to win but I hoped it would have been 7-4 with a few potential big moments. It’s opening day. You have something to prove. Act like you care.
Womp womp
2023 called they want their team back….
I just hope we have more fun this year
Marmol is so unserious.
“Yeah, we just had some bad luck out there today. I was pleased with our guys overall. Mickey had some calls that just didn’t go our way. They’re a good team and we battled. We have to remember that this is a marathon, not a sprint.” – Oli Marmol postgame
i am going to wait until this series is over to form an opinion. obviously the team didn’t show any life at all today, but maybe they can swing it around tomorrow
good news: Goldy didn’t start cold.
Bad news: everyone else was no-hit
I believe every teams fan base deserves to see a win for their home opener. Let’s get them next game!
We brought in marp, crawford, and lance to give everyone swirlies for times like these, right?
Well the good news is Spring football seasons starts in two days.
Love how Goldy got the memo that the regular season is a polar opposite of Spring Training. Kinda wish the rest of the team did
Can the players on this team just stop making comments like Mikolas did to the press about the dodgers? Just play baseball and let the results stand for themselves. What he said makes us look foolish.
On pace to go 0-162
It’s going to be a loooooooooooooooong year
*Our expectations were low, but* **Hoooolllyy shit**
Goldy trying to get that pay day from a contender and a ring before he rides off into the sunset. Wonder if we’ll trade him at the deadline.
On the bright side Waino is killing it on MLB Network as an analyst
Mikolas getting lit up by an elite hitting core?check
VS2 stealing a base only for the team to strand him? Check
Anti-clutch Goldy showing up when no one else on the team did? Check.
Yup this all checks out
Back to back years of our SP’s making smart ass quotes and then eating their words
You can’t really expect Mikolas to be good but letting the worst pitcher in the dodgers bullpen get 3 no stress innings is just bad.
Midwest farmers
No mo Mo
Pirates pull it out after some wild extra innings. Ugh.
We may never win again
The front office defense force in the local media seems devastated today. It’s like all the issues fans pointed out came to fruition. No one expect the cards to spend like the Dodgers, but opening the checkbook a bit can still help. Miles needs to win some games before you can start spouting your mouth like that.
didn’t redeem my free mlb.tv from T-Mobile this year….I’ll be spending my free time umpiring baseball and softball instead of watching this clusterf..k of a team
Goldy left AZ for this lmao
On the bright side, Jon Jay looked great as Marlin’s 1st base coach.
Does anyone think Sonny would have done any better? I have to hope so, or all hope is lost. Miles had the same issues early last season.
I seen 3/28 as in oh at least we scored 3 runs. Golly.
