Uh. Hm. There seems to be an interesting decision in this starting lineup.

Thought Bo was supposed to be the main catcher. Hedgey starting for Biebs or what?
Vogt Is already starting to worry me…. hedges or bo? Even if Bieber asked for hedges you do the right thing and say no
Was hoping to feel a little more excited about this lineup…
Do we think Gimenez 7th and Hedgey & Fryer starting are products of a LHP?? That’s all I can think of.
Why is Gimenez still so low in the lineup?

I really hope Bo pinch hits as soon as Bieber is out of the game. Also Laureano 3 is weird as hell.
OK, everyone agrees, WTF??? lol, just kidding, if Hedges can hit .300 with moderate power, he can be the starting catcher. Might even be good for Bo’s development, not having the pressure. I’m OK, Hedgie had a great spring. If he goes 0-4 tonight, he’s outta there. lol Go Vogt!

If Hedges will be back to catching every Bieber game this season, I’d like to revise my win prediction down a bit. I’m tired, boss.

Lol can any of you use your brain for a second and let go of the notion that Bo is this team’s savior and needs to catch every pitcher?? Did you even GLANCE at Bieber’s catcher ERAs? It makes 100% perfect sense for Hedgey to be his catcher. The timing would allow for Bo to still be the starting catcher for everyone else. Anyone here actually watch any games last year when Biebs pitched? He lost all confidence in his slider throwing to Zu. Hedgey should catch him every single time. Y’all are freaking wild
Bieber prefers Hedges, Fry DH cause Wood is a lefty. Bo comes in if we’re trailing after the 6th. Pretty standard lineup tbh.
Lefty pitcher so Laureano’s placement seems reasonable, + no Gabby. Hedges with Bieber was also a forgone conclusion

A lot of people are mad at this lineup but hedges is not gonna be our normal starter probably just for Bieber and every once in a while will start so Bo can get a break.
Roman laureano, freeman, and Rocchio will all probably get a chance to prove themselves but if they do bad we have a ton of players in the minors ready to come up.
And it seems like other people are saying David fry is only in because it’s left handed pitcher so maybe that dh spot will be split with Florial/arias
