From a human level — I feel kind of sad for Vincent. Seeing his parents in Montreal wearing jerseys with “Vincent” on the back
He probably wasn’t ready for this, and maybe never would have been – that’s why he was passed over. He got put in a situation where he had to jump at his chance because it was probably the only one he would get anytime soon — and it was cleaning up someone else’s mess, and it was his dream and it’s coming to an end. He was in over his head, but if he said no he probably wouldn’t have gotten another shot either.
I don’t like him as a coach, but I feel empathy for him being in a shitty situation.
He also didn’t course correct though – I dunno I just feel kind of bad for the entire situation – it was shitty.
