Heinicke took a paycut per his overthecap page. Was projected a $9M hit this year. Has been cut in half to $4.5M this year.

1. That’s weird that no one reported on it, but the official NFLPA page has the falcons with over 7 million dollars so I guess it’s true.

3. It was interesting: I don’t think anyone really wanted to keep Heineke at 7 million. But I didn’t hear anything about a restructure. And the date to cut him pass.

   This checks all the boxes and isn’t big enough news to make sense for someone to troll about it.

5. Don’t see the update on Spotrac, they still have his base at 5M. If it really is 1.2M then that’s great. QB2 with 4.5M cap hit is great.

   He probably chose this instead of getting cut – makes sense considering he’s from Lawrenceville.

7. Love the guy. Wish he had played better last season but Kirk seems happy to have him around so I’m all for it.
