Great to see Gio score tonight and see that he’s healthy. He’s had a tough going with his Dad passing away then getting hurt.
I’m so glad he’s back, I was really worried after that injury.

Gio is a fucking perfect “extra” Dman to have around. He can, in short stints, fill in anywhere in the lineup and no one will think twice if he site out a few in a row for rest
I wasn’t sure that we’d see him back in a Leafs jersey again after the injury, so it’s pretty amazing that he did make it back and scored!
