  1. I think I still remember one there line ups
Elden, Vlad, Ceballos, Jones, Van Exel

  2. He was one of my favorite players growing up. Took a hit when Shaq joined. I remember him regressing. And then he’d ball out when shaq sat out.

  3. I remember when they drafted him at the end of the first round. Took him a few years to be serviceable. His brother Elwayne never panned out.

  4. Had that one monster series in the playoffs against Seattle. My friends called him baby hands Campbell as he always seemed to mishandle the ball.

  5. Was one of the first big men I watched as a kid. When I first got NBA Showdown for the SNES, I would, for no good reason, pass the rock to him in the paint thinking he would do his thing. Thinking back about it and how good Campbell really was, I might not have been thinking correctly.

Still has my respect for wearing #41 with so much pride.

  6. I met him at a gas station a couple years ago. The man was cool as hell and super humble. I grew up watching him and have a ton of respect for him. He kinda paved the way for Shaq to come in (Vlade did too).

  7. Every year I waited for him to figure it out and reach his potential. Then he goes to DET and helped them beat Kobe/Shaq…pissed me off.

  8. Loved Elden. Awkward, peculiar ass mfer. Everything he did was uniquely Elden. I remember one of the knocks on him was that he had small hands. I have no clue how my 13 year old self could have learned that so it must have come from Chick or Stu.

  9. I remember when he had to step in for Shaq when he got injured and was ballin like I’d never seen.

  10. Pretty solid for us during the rebuild years. But I do remember him having “butterfingers” smh.

  11. I saw him play, very slow and would always miss his jump hooks, but had a good game every once in a while

  12. He was a damn goodcenter but just got in the way with shaq. I do remember him hitting some three pointers in his time here lol it was two but he made both. He beat the 72-10 bulls when shaq was hurt with his ab muscles and gave the lakers a hell of a game
