oh we’re definitely getting him with our first lol
I’ve really come to peace with drafting an OT in the first, just feels like it makes the most sense with the talent available there and how the team has been ran the last decade+.

As much as I’d like a DB or a LB (blasphemy, I know) you can never argue bolstering the trenches. And in Stout we trust.
I honestly wouldn’t mind taking him with our 1st
If Stoutland likes him then we should take him. He can play both T/G and Lane isn’t getting any younger
It’s never flashy but I never have a problem continually investing in the line play
Also I highly highly doubt he falls to us, this draft is very Oline heavy which is good for us but he’s considered top 2 Oline
We won our first SB, taking care of our OL and DL. I am Okay, with drafting OL or DL in the first this year.
Can he play guard? I feel like lane had another 2-3 seasons in him. So I would have for a draft pick to just sit there for a few years

This dude for sure gonna compete for the RG start and cross your fingers play RT when Lanes done.
I’ve been pounding the table for a tackle and Fautanu is my favorite of the ones in range of our pick.
My favorite overall is Fauaga (mostly because Alt is just 100% out of reach), but Fautanu reminds me so much of Rashawn Slater.
If Troy some how fell to pick our range I wouldn’t be too mad, still prefer a CB but Troy playing RG than moving to RT would be disgusting
I would love this pick . Allows us to draft and target our needs for next season if this happens . We need a plug and play RG and if he can kick out to play RT in the future than perfect . CB and TE/LB picks with some line depth sprinkled in and that window they said closed is open for another 5-7 years .
I fully believe we’re gonna go oline but to get to Fautanu we’re looking at getting somewhere between 12-14 according to the mocks and sims. Using draft teks big board that would mean we would be giving up either one of 50 or 53, possibly both. We don’t really have the capital to use later round picks.
I can’t really see us getting a 1 for Reddick either. Looking what Von Miller and Kahlil Mack went for, they both went for a 2nd and a 3rd.
Raiders need their QB. They’re not trading back…. Saints may very well move back but the haul required would be horrid. Same with Denver. Chad Reuter has us trading with vikings at 11 and giving up our 50th pick.
I my opinion though…. I honestly think we can work with this line for the next season. Cooper Dejean is gonna be right there who will more than likely cover us at corner for 5 years.
I’d be much more comfortable trying to get a really high pick for Reddick for next years draft and trying for Josh Simmons out of Ohio.

22nd pick Cooper Dejean / Kool Aid 50th Pick Edgerrin Cooper / Peyton Wilson 53rd pick Xavier Legett / Roman Wilson
And I’m sure howie could work his magic, move around and get some picks in the 2nd or next year out of this.
If we do trade up somehow and get Fautanu, you won’t hear me complaining. That kid is a fucking beast. Athletic as fuck and violent. And all our recent success is built around the lines.
But I do think the holes we have in the roster elsewhere right now trumps this trade up and honestly, as I said….. Copper Dejean gives me a chubby everytime I watch him.
That being said, I thought Sidney Jones was gonna be a lock down for us…. So what the fuck do I know! 😂
Watching the OL portion of the combine was hilarious. Stoutland ran some drills and everytime Fautanu would line up stoutland had to say something like “let’s see what ya got Troy” and would always finish the rep with “great job Troy”. It was so clear how much he liked him haha.
