Does the Astros know the roof is retractable?

Went to 9 games last year since I got stationed here. I’m dying to see that roof open

  1. They know for sure. It was open for the space cowboys game 2 nights ago. But they didn’t build a retractable roof for fans to enjoy outdoor games. They did it to have a natural grass field. It’s been known for years that the players prefer it closed.

  2. They have to keep it closed against the Yankees because the breeze from it being open could blow judges balls back from being a HR and blow Altuve ball far enough into a HR.

  3. I’ve been to both Astros and Texans games with the roof open. They’re both miserable spectator experiences. It’s not comfortable due to glare and heat. Leave them closed forever.

  4. The roof is never open for games, sorry…..amazing spring days be damned……only in the WS when the MLB swings it’s big balls and dictates the top be popped….
