Went to 9 games last year since I got stationed here. I’m dying to see that roof open

They know for sure. It was open for the space cowboys game 2 nights ago. But they didn’t build a retractable roof for fans to enjoy outdoor games. They did it to have a natural grass field. It’s been known for years that the players prefer it closed.
They hardly have it open enough to grow the grass during the season.
Is the roof in the room with us
They have to keep it closed against the Yankees because the breeze from it being open could blow judges balls back from being a HR and blow Altuve ball far enough into a HR.
Are you serious? Does it really have a roof over the ground?
Literally the perfect day for it to be open too.
I care more about winning games then having the roof open.
Just wait till post season, manfred will force us to play with an open roof
I’ve been to both Astros and Texans games with the roof open. They’re both miserable spectator experiences. It’s not comfortable due to glare and heat. Leave them closed forever.
The roof is never open for games, sorry…..amazing spring days be damned……only in the WS when the MLB swings it’s big balls and dictates the top be popped….
