  1. He is great, just will his head remain attached to his body if he tackles somebody wrong 🤷🏽‍♂️

  2. Tough to settle on my favorite first round option being Odunze or moving down a few spots and grabbing Latu. Definitely prefer him to Verse.

  3. He would be edge1 if not for the injury history imo. I’d like verse though

  4. I do think he underestimates his motor and counters when his outside moves fail. Latu is relentless if he gets against a great tackle who can shut his first move down like brett thinks will happen sometimes, his bend burst and hand usage will have him still winning and producing. We saw it against every tackle he played even those who will go high in the draft.

  5. Copied my comment from one of the daily threads on Latu and his neck injury. I’m not an expert but did work in spine surgery for a few years. Here’s the “Explain like I’m 5” version of his surgery. There’s numerous NFL players that have had ACDF procedures and his mobility doesn’t appear to be limited. Fusing the spine makes reoccurrence very unlikely.

“Short version – The nerves in his neck were bothering him because the disc (jelly blob between the bony parts in your neck/spine) was squeezed out of its normal spot and rubbing on the nerve. Doctors go in and clean up the disc and then screw the bony pieces together. So no more disc rubbing on nerve causing pain and no risk of it happening again.”

ACDF – the surgery he had.

    Anterior – Front

Cervical – Neck part of the spine

Discectomy – Removal or cleaning out of the discs between the bones in your spine

Fusion – Plates & Screws going into the bones to keep them from moving around

  6. I’m higher than most here on him. I think he has the best career out of edge rushers in this class. Absolute technician
