I get it’s a journalist and they have a job, but sweet baby Jesus can we not have manager discourse in this sub after 1 game, please?
The article is correct.
1. Montero goes in and instantly gives up a run.
2. Singleton pinch hits for a guy who just hit a home run and instantly grounds out.
3. They send the not-actually-fast-like-everybod-here-thinks-for-some-weird-reason and he gets called out at the plate.
Also, Abreu still sucks ass. Needs to bat ninth since he has almost as much upside as Maldonado did last year.
Manager can’t make pitchers throw strikes. If you walk 9 batters you shouldn’t win the game.
Ehh pulling Meyers after a home run for a. 160 hitter seemed pretty stupid to me.
But hey, on a side note how about Diaz?!

To end it framber for 12, lance for 17, abreu for 19, and javi for 7, montero for 11.. hurts. I know we don’t want to give out huge contracts, but Jesus. I’d rather Tucker at 10 for 275 than any two or three of these combined.

4 runs on 13 hits… I like the idea of them sending The runner on the road more than at home. It would be 1 out bases loaded. It was kinda a short hopper in right. I bet Juan Soto has a bad report card in RF on most 3rd base managers notes.
If dubon is not starting he should be the #1 pinch hit option. I don’t give a shit about the splits.
Stay the course. Make the kinds of decisions that will pay off more often than not over 162 games. That’s the right way to play this sport, where not every game matters.

My concern is as terrible as Framber was yesterday, the pitching coach didnt come to the mound a single time. Why the hell not???
